Invited by the Université Paris Est Créteil and Marne la Vallé, GAU was in Paris at the end of January, taking part in the Conference "Les requalifications à usage récréatif des territoires en marge or en crises", which took place in the French Senate and in the premises of this University.

The presented case studies were the two editions of the MURO Festival, form 2016 and 2017, held respectively in the territories of the Bairro Cruz and Marvila, aiming to share experiences and learning with the other conference participants, which developed around 4 thematic axes: Culture, Tourism, New Technologies and Heritage of marginal and / or in crisis territories.

Here we share some of the images of the Conference, as well as some larger urban art works in the city, which are concentrated in the 13th arrondissement and which were performed by international artists recognized in the street art universe and who also have artworks in Lisbon, such as Borondo, Obey, INTI, C215 or the portuguese Bordalo.
