“In this mural, inspired by the painting Rua do Arco do Marquês D' Alegrete, by Roque Gameiro, I decided to take the theme of everyday life represented in the painting and portray a day-to-day scene in Bairro 2 de Maio, on the stairs of the building in front of the cafe, where people get together to socialize, discuss, laugh, etc...
Initially few people wanted to be photographed but little by little I managed to gather more and more people on the stairs and arrive at a composition that portrayed several generations and several of the people who have been in the neighborhood since the beginning and that everyone knows.
