During the month of January we will highlight one of the less visible aspects of the Urban Art Gallery - the Inventory.

This component aims to preserve the memory of urban art from April's 25th, 1974 until today, through the systematized realization of photographic records of the works executed in Lisbon, its integration into a database and its dissemination as an essential tool for the understanding and research of this phenomenon.

The digital database we use is the InPatrimonium platform, a heritage information management system, where we catalog the photographic records of collected urban art pieces and acts as a "source" to the GAU website.

Each piece is treated with the following criteria - author, collection, location, description, theme, color palette, dimension, current state (existent / nonexistent), which can also be found on the website when we perform the search.

We challenge all interested parties to contribute to the GAU Inventory and help tell the city's urban art history by emailing us (gau@cm-lisboa.pt) their photos / collections of urban art in the city of Lisbon ( location indication).

Please also indicate a contact and address, as we will raffle a catalog of the MURO Festival Lx_2016 among the participants. Participants can apply until January's 31st. The winner will be selected via Random.org and announced at the beginning of February.
