NEW MURAL IN LISBON CELEBRATES OLD PRACTICE, WHICH WE STILL USE WITHOUT KNOWING ITS MEANING
The MURAL "The Language of Flowers" and a Solo Exhibition that revisit the Victorian tradition of Floriography. This is the result of the latest work by the artist Jacqueline de Montaigne , curated and produced by Because Art Matters.
It had the support of Galeria de Arte Urbana, Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, EMEL and Junta de Freguesia de Santo António.
“The language of flowers”, is a project created by the Anglo-Portuguese artist Jacqueline de Montaigne, and is presented and produced by Because Art Matters.
Public art project, which begins with the painting of a 14-meter mural, in the center of Lisbon, and culminates with the continuity of the theme and aesthetics, applied to 19 original works of art presented to the public in a temporary solo exhibition, entrance free, which can be visited from April 8 to 17 from 3 pm to 8 pm, opening on April 7 from 6 pm to 9 pm, at Largo Hintze Ribeiro Nª 2b, in Lisbon.
