As part of the Escola em Ligação project, financed by Lisbon City Council through the Energia BIP/ZIP program, an intervention was carried out on access to the Manuel Maia Group of Schools, specifically on the entrance of 1st Cycle students.
This intervention aimed to make access to the school safer for pedestrians, namely by increasing the pedestrian area and placing urban furniture, and included an intervention on the school wall carried out together with the children.
In accordance with the themes of environmental sustainability, which have been discussed in project workshops with students throughout the year, this project was carried out by the artist and illustrator Sara Malta.
